The new international regulations force all oil companies with setting in conformity their shipping units.

GROUPE CHANIMETAL takes part in rehabilitating the oil barges as well as the pushers of the companies SHELL, TOTAL, SEP, COHYDRO, PUMACONGO.

Thanks to this rehabilitation, the company SEP obtained the SOPAF price (Shell Oil Product Africa). In March 2006, Mr Paddy Milner, Vice President of Shell Africa, gave this price to the DRC SEP’s Representative, Mr Baudouin Makengele, Transport Manager of SEP Congo. This price rewarded the performances of the Transport Department of SEP Congo in 2005 in order to increase the standards HSSE of SHELL RDC.

Order for 2 hydraulic front shovels Liebherr to Frontier (subsidiary of FQML)

Order for 2 hydraulic front shovels LIEBHERR ER9350, for FRONTIER mine in DR CONGO ( subsidiary of FQML).

Each shovel weights  310 tonnes, with a 18 m³ bucket, for a nominal hourly production of 3900 t/h.

They will assure the totality of the mine production, overburden and ore, for an annual production of 100.000 t contained copper.
